propelled by the positive feedback received from our previous compilations released for the contemporary culture conventions, everestrecords proudly announces the release of expedition_1; a new compilation cd featuring music from artists on the label's current roster as well as artists who will be releasing work with us in the near future. ranging from dark drones to abstract break-clicks, from concept-bruitism to experimental analog soundscapes, expedition_1 exhibits the eclectic musical sphere of everestrecords. expedition_1 is released in collaboration with plate, a burgeoning new swiss booking agency designed for electronic music.

hess and op rechts from the band herpes ö deluxe release their first cd collaboration called "mme. de meuron" on everestrecords. this 60 minute track is based on an interview with the last famous noble in bern, looking back to her long life in the wrong century.

based on material from the cd "walking blackwards" 2000 subversiv records of the hc band unhold, everest created 3 remixes of the songs "remind me to forget", "crutch" and "equalizer".
